This chapter reviews the world’s top 10 copper producers by examining sustainability reports for signs of explicit or implicit acknowledgement and adoption of circular economy (CE) concepts and processes. The content analysis shows that the top 10 global copper producers limit their actions mainly to environmental issues with minor emphasis on social and governance ones. The chapter highlights that explicit adoption of the term has been minimal in the group of top 10 global copper producers. As for barriers to CE implementation, creating awareness and social sensitivity gains importance.
